Undefeated leader San Salvador delivered the seventeenth consecutive win on Monday night. This time they crushed 6th ranked Santa Tecla (9-10) 89-66. San Salvador looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when San Salvador made 12 blocks. The best player for the winners was Cuban forward Yoel Cubillas (204-1994) who had a double-double by scoring 50 points (!!!), 18 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!). Power forward Brayan Garcia (194-1998) chipped in 15 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 blocks. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
